Angela shares some wisdom about how she prepared her summer vegie garden and was rewarded with a blockbuster harvest.

It is always productive to look back and assess how last year’s summer crops like tomatoes fared before planting out this year’s. I heard reports from friends that last summer’s tomatoes were slow to ripen, or went rotten on the stem. I was thrilled that in comparison my crop was quite remarkable. As most gardeners will agree, you have some good years and some bad years, either feast or famine, but it is all good fun.
