Using a Fowlers Vaccola to bottle fruit is easier than you think, and once you have tasted your own bottled tomatoes or peaches, you will never go back.
Living off the grid with a small solar setup here in Southern Tassie we cannot run a freezer. We have a small fridge without a freezer because it is the freezer component with its auto defrost that takes so much electricity to run, and so we preserve our excess fruit in Fowlers bottles.
