Recently David Attenborough reminded us, as so many have done before, that the situation for our world as far as climate change is concerned is fast becoming dire. Many, including our children, have taken to the streets and social media to protest, calling on governments to act, but if you have ever served on a committee you will know how slow and difficult it is to get a com- mittee to do anything!
Government is one huge committee, made up of hundreds of little committees. It is amazing anything ever gets done! And governments don’t really make, create, or grow, they just create laws about what we can and can’t do. We must not wait for them, or others, to solve the problem for us. We have all contrib- uted to the problem and continue todoso.Wecanalldoourpartto solve it.
