Plant out your garden to encourage biodiversity and provide food and shelter for birdlife: the resulting visitors will bring much joy.

Have you ever watched and listened to a skylark? I love to see them spiralling higher and higher into the sky over the paddocks, ascending to the point you can no longer see them. Even out of sight, their melodious singing, a beautiful high-pitched warbling, carries from great heights. And then suddenly, when you think you have lost them, they appear to free fall and you think they are going to crash into the ground, but at the last second they pull out of their dive and start all over again.
